As a cadet you get the opportunity to go Air Experience flying. Flights are undertaken at RAF stations in the Grob Tutor aircraft and gives the cadet an understanding of basic flying skills. Each flight typically lasts for 30 minutes and you will have the opportunity to take control of the aircraft for a short period so that you can put into practice what the pilot has shown you. You may even get to do aerobatics!
Following Air Experience flying cadets can progress onto the Air Cadet Pilot Scheme (ACPS) where cadets can receive 12 hours powered flying training which counts towards the issue of a Private Pilots Licence.
