Overseas Camps are considered by many cadets to be the highlight of their cadet careers.
As a cadet, you will be able to go on a variety of different overseas camps.
Wing Camps -
RAF Akrotiri (Cyprus)
The winter training base of the RAF Red Arrows, RAF Akrotiri camp is an exciting trip, with swimming, boating, adventure training and station visits all on offer.
A chance to see RAF life on 'The Rock'!
Our cadets have also been to Ascension Island, South Korea and Canada!
Squadron Camps -
Every year, cadets from Warwickshire and Birmingham Wing set off to Arnhem in the Netherlands, to take part in the Airborne Wandeltocht. This is a commemorative march that takes place around Oosterbeek, remembering Operation Market Garden (September 1944), and those who fell during it. It is a fantastic opportunity for you to learn about the operation, and also see how it still impacts the people of Gelderland to this day. We go on a battlefield tour, as well as visiting Commonwealth War Graves cemeteries at Reichswald and Oosterbeek.
